Join a dynamic full-time opportunity as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students in the Orlando, FL area. This itinerant role involves providing specialized speech and language services to students across multiple private schools east and northeast of Orlando, with a focus on delivering impactful support within the school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to K-12 students across various private schools, including Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic School, The Masters Academy, The Ecclesial School at Saint Albans, Altamonte Christian School, Orangewood Christian, and International Community School
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to develop and implement effective treatment plans that enhance student communication skills
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with district and state regulations
- Travel between assigned schools to fulfill caseload requirements and ensure comprehensive service delivery
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities and team meetings
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Florida State License as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Experience working within schools, preferably with K-12 students
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload effectively while maintaining strong communication skills
